This page lists all the resources I’ve used to get my blog up and running.
Bluehost – This is the hosting company that I use for my website. In my opinion, Bluehost is by far the best. They offer 24/7 customer support, anytime money-back guarantee, and hosting as low as $5.95/month; I even got my domain name for free. I’ve never had to deal with long wait times or poor customer service.
Get 10,000 Fans – This is a company that teaches marketing strategies to help grow your blog or business through Facebook’s social network. They have a lot of great free tips and training videos. I use their methods to grow my Facebook fan page and channel those fans back to my blog.
WordPress – This is the publishing platform I use for my blog. It’s extremely user-friendly, with great customizable themes, and completely free.
MailChimp – This is the autoresponder that I use for my email opt-in service. I use this to send out all my newsletters. It’s completely free (up to 2,000 subscribers). This is a great option if you’re a beginner blogger and have limited funds to invest.
Magic Action Box – This is the free WordPress plugin I use for my opt-in box to capture e-mail leads. It’s very user-friendly, customizable, and compatible with several different autoresponders.
